CANCELLATION OF 2021 AND 2022 UNITED AIRLINES GUAM MARATHON EVENTS

  1. Why was UGM canceled for 2021 and 2022?

As with all tourism-related business and events, the global pandemic has affected UGM
tremendously and we are all facing economic uncertainty as tourism begins to rebuild.
As a result, the GSE Board of Directors has decided to cancel the 2021 and 2022
events. Additionally, we will be suspending the event indefinitely until we can restart the
    event safely and successfully.

  2. Am I eligible for a refund from the 2020 event?

UGM went virtual in 2020 and provided participants with their race bags to include a
finisher’s medal, event t-shirt, beach mat, event towel, and event bag. Unfortunately,
event registration is non-refundable. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions for further
    information regarding refunds.

  3. I have made travel arrangements and hotel accommodations for the original
September 13, 2022 event. Can I get assistance with this?

We recommend that you kindly contact the hotel where the reservation was made for
    direct assistance.

Registrants who have booked travel through the event’s title sponsor, United Airlines,
can contact United directly for personalized assistance:
