  1. When will I receive my UGM 2020 event packet?
    • GUAM PARTICIPANTS
    • If you were unable to attend packet pick-up, please email info@unitedguammarathon.com to arrange for pick-up. Please note, we have limited shirt sizes left.
    • INTERNATIONAL PARTICIPANTS
    • If you are an international registrant, your packets are being sent via mail and are currently in transit. A friendly reminder, due to the impact of COVID-19, please allow up to 4-6 weeks for delivery.
    • If you are an international registrant and have not provided your mailing address the final deadline to provide your information will be by October 11, 2020. Please send information to info@unitedguammarathon.com . If you do not provide your information by this date, your packet will be considered forfeited and donated to volunteers and local charities.
  2. Can I still pick up my personalized bib?
  3. What do I receive as part of my event packet?
    • Registered runners will receive their #UGM2020 finisher medal, bib, shirt, beach mat, event towel, and event bag.
  4. Is the UGM 2020 race packet the same as the #UGM2020 Goes Virtual race packet?
    • Yes, the race packets include the same items.
  5. Can I receive my personalized bib?
    • Yes.
  6. What do I need to bring when I pick-up my packet?
    • Please have proof of registration and a photo ID available for event staff. Proof of registration can be presented on your mobile device and may include your original race registration confirmation or your Athlinks race result.
  7. I registered for the event but did not complete the race, can I still receive my packet?
    • Yes.
  8. I wasn’t able to input my results onto Athlinks before the cut-off, can I still submit my time?
  9. I did not receive the link to input my results / I had trouble inputting my results onto Athlink.
    • Anyone having troubles submitting their times or need their links to resent, please contact Athlinks support for assistance: support@athlinks.zendesk.com
  10. Can I send a proxy to pick up my packet?
    • Yes.
  11. Can I pick up for multiple people – friends/family?
    • Yes, you may pick up multiple packets for family and friends. Proxies must provide their name, email, and contact number along with an initial upon pickup.
  12. I registered prior to April 2020 and my entry is automatically deferred to 2021, will I need to register again and will I need to pay any fees?
    • No, you don’t have to re-register and pay the fee again. All participants who were originally entered in the United Airlines Guam Marathon were automatically registered for the UGM Goes Virtual and your 2020 race entry will also be deferred for the 2021 event at no additional cost.
  13. Will my existing information be transferred to the 2021 event?
    • Yes, all registrations will be automatically maintained and forwarded to the 2021 event.
  14. If I’m automatically deferred to the 2021 event, can I change my race distance and information?
    • When you defer you will be transferred to the equivalent race distance for 2021. When registration officially opens for 2021 you can change events and update information per our usual process, including transferring your registration to someone else.
  15. Can I get a refund?
    • Unfortunately, event registration is non-refundable. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions for further information.
    • If you registered before April 2020, your entry is automatically deferred to next year’s event on April 11, 2021.  Or you can have it transferred to someone else. We will send an announcement on how you can transfer your entry by email in the next coming weeks.
  16. If I’m unable to participate in the 2021 event on April 11, can I transfer my entry to someone else?
    • Yes, an announcement on how you can transfer your entry will be communicated by email upon the opening of 2021 registration portal.
  17. If I’m a new registrant for the 2020 virtual run event, does this entitle me to an entry to the 2021 event?
    • No, registration offered for the virtual event is at a special rate ($30.00)
  18. Will there be award medals?
    • No award medals will be given for the virtual event.
  19. Will race times be posted?
    • No. Due to the fact that the event was a virtual run, race officials are unable to substantiate race times. Therefore, individual race times will not be officially published.
  20. Can I use my virtual UGM 2020 time as a qualifying time for the 2021 Boston Marathon?
    • No.
  21. I have made travel arrangements and hotel accommodations for the original September 13th event date, can I get assistance on this?
    • Those registrants that booked travel through event title sponsor United Airlines, please contact United City Ticket Office – 671 645 8123.

  22. The age on the event day for my UGM 2021 entry will be changed, will it be taken care of by the organizer?
    • Yes.
  23. When is the 2021 event scheduled for?
    • Sunday, April 11, 2021.
  24. When will registration open for the 2021 event?
    • The opening of registration for 2021 will be announced at a later date.
